¹³ He will build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. ¹⁴ I will be his father, and he will be my son. When he sins, I will discipline him with a rod used by men and with blows of the sons of men. ¹⁵ My faithful mercy will not depart from him as I removed it from Saul, whom I removed to make room for you.
